Concept Landscapes

Concept landscapes emerge from aggregations of – potentially large – amounts of concept maps. While a concept map is essentially an externalization of the structural knowledge of a person, a concept landscape shows the shared knowledge structures of a group.

By combining several concept maps methods of data mining can be applied to uncover patterns in the data. These patterns can on the one hand be shared common knowledge structures of the entire group or, on the other hand, subgroups that differ in their knowledge structures.
